As you cross the Bay Bridge, you've no doubt spied some changes taking place on Treasure Island. Just across the bay from downtown, buildings and parks have been quietly coming to life.
It's a story that's been years in the making; a thrilling new frontier in urban and community development. And very soon, there will be residences available for homebuyers looking for a completely new Bay Area experience.
Real estate aficionados might debate which iconic San Francisco view is the best. Maybe your favorite is the Bay Bridge lights? Or perhaps Alcatraz, Sutro Tower, the downtown skyline or Golden Gate Bridge? I personally have a soft spot for the view down Market Street from the top of Twin Peaks. All are stunning in their own way, but Treasure Island offers a completely new perspective on the theme.
Here's the scoop: Treasure Island's first for-sale residences will be opening soon, with first sales expected in fall and closings expected by end of 2025. (although we always say… add at least 3 months to the end of the developer's closing estimate!) They'll be the first condos in what will be a much larger community that will eventually include approximately 8,000 homes and 300 acres (!) of open space, parks, and trails.
The guiding principles of the city's long-time vision for Treasure Island have been to create a community that's:
Compact and walkable
Eclectic, memorable and distinctive
Sensitive to topography, views and aesthetics
Economically, ethnically, and demographically diverse
The island's first condo building, 409 Avenue of the Palms, will be a mid-rise directly in front of the new CitySide Park. (think: living on the new Crissy Field)
Other details:
148 residences in a range of floor plans from studios to 3BRs, penthouses to townhomes.
Views, views and more views. Water, Golden Gate Bridge, and more.
Amenities including fitness center, residents' lounge, rooftop terraces, and yes, parking.
Treasure Island's ferry service means approx 8 minute commute to downtown
