Picture this: Our client, let's call them our House Hunter Extraordinaire, had been shopping in San Francisco and Daly City for some time before they stumbled upon an adorable little Broadmoor cottage that whispered sweet nothings of "home sweet home." Their good friends even lived on the same block. They had to have it! It was fated to be!
The only hiccup? The price tag was sky high - a classic unrealistic seller story.
But fear not! Enter Sean, our real estate wizard with a knack for turning dreams into deeds.
With the finesse of a master negotiator and the determination of someone who's had one too many cups of coffee, Sean crafted an offer that he knew would put the price in line with the fair market value. Yet, despite the valiant efforts of buyer and agent, the seller continued to hold fast.
But hey, when the going gets tough, the tough get persistent! Sean and our House Hunter Extraordinaire decided to play the waiting game. Days turned into weeks, as the little house stood stoically, still overpriced, still waiting for its perfect match.
Sensing a second chance might be nigh, Sean swooped in like a real estate superhero, presenting the offer one more time.
And guess what?!
The seller STILL wouldn't budge!
As you might guess… that's not the end. That would be a pretty crummy story, no?
The dance continued. Weeks went by - the hands on the clock spun around and around. Civilizations rose and fell. Sean and our stalwart client kept in touch - watching, nudging, and continuing to build rapport with the seller and their agent.
And at last….success! After submitting the original offer yet again, the seller finally threw in the towel, waving the white flag of negotiation defeat. Sean and our House Hunter Extraordinaire busted out some victory moves that would put any TikTok star to shame, and the buyer is now cozily ensconced in their perfectly positioned AND perfectly priced abode. A testament to the power of persistence!
If you're ready to embark on your own adventure or just want to share your favorite house-hunting stories, we're all ears!
